Crows Zero II

the picture from Crows Zero I

Genji beating the hell out of the Housens!!! *koraaaaaa!!!*

"koraaaa!!!!" finally!!! I’ve waited so long just to get my eyes to this badass movie, fuuh what pain in the ass though haha =p Anyway, for those of you who haven’t had the chance to watch the first movie, here’s a little summary of it:

Takiya Genji (Oguri Shun), a newcomer to Suzuran All-Boys High School who aims to 'conquer' Suzuran. Genji makes a deal with his father, Hideo Takitani. If he can conquer the school before his graduation, he will be allowed to succeed his father as the head of his yakuza syndicate. But first, he has to defeat Serizawa Tamao, the "King of Beasts" and leader of the Serizawa Army and not to mentioned, the closest to conquering Suzuran High.

Later, Genji were able to gain control of his own class which was formerly led by Chuta and from there onwards, he made alliance with other of his fellow ‘conquerors’, Makise and Izaki, who eventually led to him one step closer to his goal to conquer Suzuran High.

And the rest I leave it to you guys to watch, no spoilers thank you =p

On the second movie itself, which was released this April, it centers out the situation 8 months after what we can see from the first movie. Genji is close to graduation and yet still far away from conquering Suzuran due to a decisive loss towards Rindaman, one of the toughest lad in Suzuran High and rumors has it that he hospitalized more than 10 men as a freshmen alone.

In adding to that, Genji encountered another issue with another rival school, the Housen, led by the ferocious Taiga Narumi. The rival school itself caused a stir and chaos towards Suzuran which eventually caused more burden for Genji and his fellow comrades.

Well, this is all that I can state as a summary of the story and the rest is up to you peeps to find out. Personal ratings for both movies, 8.9/10 ^^,V

I ended my post with double thumbs up to Takashi Miike who produced one of the greatest movies that I’ve seen so far =D

Finally Awake From My Nap...

ZZZ… ahh dude!!! Wake up wake up!!! Ohh man, I just realized that June exam is around the corner and to be specific, my 1st exam is history paper and will be held at… *checking on the calendar* WTF?!!! You can’t be bloody serious?! 30 more f#cking days?! =O I can’t even grow a moustache within 30 days!!! And for revising?! IDK, never done it before…

*Headache* hmphh, well this only lead to one thing and only rely on that particular thing in order for a miracle happen and that’s… “dating with my books”… oh yes, I never liked dating books so much, as far as I can remember haha, but hell it’s the only shot I can take.

There’s been an ease in my mind lately, thinking of this and that, the future and not to mention all the pressure I’ve received from fellow peers, tutors and of course my respective parents who all expecting something from me, as stated by my history tutor “flying with colours”, and I’m pretty sure that thing is not ‘FAILURE’.

So basically where I’m at right now? Close to success? Not even close mate… Close to failure? If I say that then I can be labeled as liar… even I myself don’t know which position I am at right now. So, to be on the safe side, it’s best to place my self in the middle of both which btw explains clearly, my so-called future result is hanging by the thread…

Well, it’s not anyone’s fault really that I’m not fully prepared for the upcoming exam, both mentally… physically… if it even make sense. Where are all the days that are given to me as a chance for me to spent time with my lovely *sort of* book of knowledge? Hmm, to those who knew me that much, I bet they know the answer but for the sake of blogging… I spent it all sleeping. Yeah, I lay my ass on my bed, dreaming and snoring *cough not true cough*. And when I got the chance or free time to study, I simply said to myself “alaa wtf should I be studying now, tomorrow can bah~” what the devil? Haha =P Eventually tomorrow changed to days and days become weeks and months which leads to where I’m at now…

Hmphh f#ck it, I need a bloody slap… No!!! a good old punch in the face sounds better enough so that I can wake up from my laziness. Fortunately, I just realized it now than later and chances? No comment, but will try my best… so hope luck will be on my side and wish me luck for my upcoming exam peeps… not to forget all my mates, the 6th form students from SMSO, who will be having their exams this upcoming June, I wish you all good luck mates!!! =)

*p.s: belajar tah banar2 mates, mun dapat grade tinggi bukan jwa urang lain untung, kamu juwa kan and… aku haha =P kenapa? Sapa yang grade nya tinggi tu nanti, belanja aku makan lahh hahaha =P*

Why Guitars Are Better Than Girlfriends?

Here are 15 reasons why guitars are better than girlfriends:

01. Girls dump you. A guitar will always be there when you get home.
02. A guitar's minimum requirement is an amp. A girl's minimum requirement is shoes, clothes, makeup, a mirror, magazines, more shoes and a tiny handbag. And that's every week!
03. You'll never turn on a girl as fast as you can turn on an amp.
04. If your guitar sounds crap, you can tune it. If your girl talks crap you're stuck with her.
05. Guitar's, unlike girls, have volume control which goes all the way down.
06. If you play your guitar crap, it tells you its crap. It doesn't lie and pretend you did it right when you didn't!
07. Two girls at once is hard to come by. Double kneck guitars are not.
08. Your guitar makes a sound only when you want it to.
09. Nobody cares when you dump your old, out of date guitar for a new, younger model. In fact it's encouraged.
10. With a guitar, you can copy tunes from other songs. With a girl, try telling her you're copying some moves from an ex and she'll throw you out.
11. Your guitar doesn't refuse to let you play it once a month.
12. Your guitar will never find out if you've been playing another guitar behind its back.
13. You don't have to get guitars drunk before using them.
14. You can stare at a guitar all you like, but stare at a girl too long and you'll end up in an immense amount of pain.
15. Watching other people play the guitar is entertaining. Watching other people do it is just sick!

*p.s: such posting is for the sake of reading entertainment not being f*cked up sexist =)

Pictures Of You.... Pictures Of...

pictures position: from top...
- me doing my Kata at Sengkarai Dojo
- me doing a Mawashi Geri at our training in Pantai Seri Kenangan last Sunday for the Brukaf competiton
- my lil bro Aldrin with a... axe kick?! haha
- my lil bro Austin with his Uramawashi Gere

This my 2nd post about karate, and last post about it was a little emotional don't you think? haha...

Well, this time it's touch a brief account about these two karatekas... My respected, *cough2 not!!!* little brothers haha...

Aldrin - a bit of a shorty but bare in mind his mawashi gere or the rounhouse kick is sometime can be refered as lethal... trust me... I've been through thius shit, a lot!!! and, he's quite good in sweeping, can't remember the Japanese term for it... Im quite impressed when he beat down a dude from ABDB in the last tournament... You earn my respect little man!!!

Austin - my 3rd youngest brother but a bit taller than his 2nd elder, ALdrin!!! haha =p IDK much about him... Coz, he's a conservative type of guy when it comes to sparring... Seriously, I don't ever want to piss this guy out in the ring!!! Why? When he pissed, he will kill.... *gulp* some may not realise it until he gave them a good old uramawashi gere in the face... How fast? Well... Let's just say, the feet slaps before you even blinked... Fast enough? haha... And he's quite a fighter in terms of agility, strength and mentality... Unluckily he never had the chance to fight in tournaments though, too young for most tournaments!!! But, to my experience in karate, I can see a champion when I see one... A little more adjustments and you're there mate... =)

Well, it's almost time to go to school for the Explorace thingy hehe, better off to shower before my mate arrives to pick me up... haha, kana marah nda cali~ =P Well, wish me and some of my other karate peers good luck for the upcoming Brukaf tournament in Mumong this 27th and 29th... *nervous2* =S

Suprised?? Yeahh Maybe~

19th of March, yesterday, the end of the first term of 2009 and... someone's birthday... guess who... haha =P well i arrived quite late than usual in the morning to school, hoping to avoid any birthday songs from my mates... i went to L6-4 to see a mate of mine to ask a few things that i've had in my mind. the second i want to step in, luckily Daus went first, so they sing a birthday song to Daus instead haha =P so yeah i went inside... a birthday song... play it cool as always haha... went back to my class, got a few greeting from my classmates and received a present from Amuls, thanks babe!!! hehe =D

block 4... sociology class... hoping to have no class, typical holiday mood haha... mr.charles went in with a 'bag', so not like him to carry a bag with him with no books inside of it! haha didn't even suspect a thing though... anyway, he came in with a gloomy mood, again so not like him, usually mr.charles explains to us why he was in such mood. then two of my mates, larry and lukman loopy, asked for permission to go the cloak room in the early of the morning!!! something's fishy~

so we learned sociology as always... a few minutes of lecturing about Marxism and Crime, me reading the pages wondering what the hell is Marxist criminologist claimed about crime... before i even realised it... "Happy Birthday to you"... wtf?! i saw both loopy and larry at the door, holding a durian haha... for a minute i was thinking wth did these two holding a durian and sing a birthday song?! then i saw my name was written on the durian, cool got icing on durian haha, and below it says "happy holiday"...

it took me like 30 seconds to realise that the durian was a cake!!! haha, it was like so lagg of me =P damn, i was really shock and freeze out back then!!! not to mention "control ron control" haha ='S btw, to prove this, i did put my blur wtf is going on face on the post haha =D so yeahh, i was quite suprised that moment... i did'nt saw it coming eventhough i did suspect something haha...

thank you mr.charles for the cake, loopy and larry for the suprise and the whole sociology class for singing a lovely birthday song... sorry, no belanja ah haha, kapih already =P btw, the P.S for block 5 that is using L6-7 room, not my fault the room smelled like durian haha =P

block 5, GP class, well ms.lee did fulfill her promise to sing me another birthday song... again thanks to the whole GP class... =D

break time, another song haha led by my mate Duke, thanks mate, eventhough it was quite embarrassing =s oh he also led another song in my history class haha, typical Duke~ nice mate... =D

before i went home, i hang my ass out at the canteen with a few friends, and bumped in with kevin, my junior and one of my squad c junior during orientation... i was quite touched when he said that he represented the whole squad C to greet me a happy birthday... well, at least they still remember their old senior hehe... i replied and joked, "why they didn't greet me individually?" "they can't find you anywhere senior so they asked me to greet you" "ooo~" ehem2, to that squad C, im sorry for not available that morning haha but i appreciate your greetings... =')

yawnnn, im sleepy noe due to overconsume of nasi katok for lunch haha, so i end my post with a special announcement...

"to those who greeted me... suprised me with a cake and made my day a blast, thank you so much!!! i really appreciate it and to some extent touched but not in a jiwang2 way haha =P to the ones who greeted me via chatbox, again tq sooooo muchh, sorry cannot belanja, reserved for tomorrow's date haha kidding =P and... enjoy your hools peeps!!! =)"

M.U.S.I.C

My little ‘earphone’ friend is one part of my daily routine. Wherever I go, whatever I do, waiting for my turn in counters, eating at restaurants, you name it all, my music mate never stayed far. People may refer me as a ‘music-aholic’ and some claim that I’m crazy, sort of, because almost 2/3 of my time is spent with mp3.

Well I don’t literally go around and announce to people why in the world I spent most of my time with music… Not that free and I’m not even that free to update my blog, sorry readers… ‘-_-

Okay, reason number one, it’s my life and I can do whatever I want haha =P Two, music is my source of inspiration, most o the time, I can’t even revise or even do my assignments without it, seriously!!! =S

Three, I’m kind of the ‘anti-noise’, ‘anti - bla bla’, ‘anti-comment’ and ‘anti wtf is going on with the world’ type of person, yeaa I prefer to sit there not knowing any bull crap people say or gossip about. So whenever I encounter these types of shit, don’t even bother to say a word to me… I’m off listening to my mp3 with both ears covered with music in that little corner haha

Four, it’s a way for me to release stress. I don’t know about you guys but it sure works with me. I listen to sorts of genre, but only 3 types of genre fits me well in any situation which I refer to as ‘versatile genre’ – Britpop, Indie and alternative respectively. One of my mates actually asked me the other day, “Why do you listen to Britpop? Is it really that good?” umm well lets see… I don’t know about you but I believe that every individual has their own taste of music, so yepp… Plus, such type of bands like the Arctic Monkeys and Bloc Party are one of my favorites. What’s not to like? Cool drum beats, esp. how they play around with the cymbals and the bass pedals and their ‘British English Accent’. I’m quite tired of the typical American English accent which is commonly on air nowadays and I find British accent pop music is rather a unique blend of music. =D

So that’s all I can say about my mp3 ‘addiction’, sort of haha, well that’s the most logical answers I can think off right now hehe… Well, and I’m off *plug in headphones, when the sun goes down from the arctic monkeys please~* =P

3 years gone by... but i'm back =D

As I recall, it’s been 3 years since I last stepped in Long Banyok. God knows how much I miss that place. Well, the place I’m referring to is my mom’s homeland and yes I know she miss it as much as I did =D Plus, it is the home of my grandmother (we call her by the name “UKAU” which means grandmother in Morek) and my aunty A’a (one of the

people I know who can sure pull of a delicious meal. Make that every meal!!! =D).

There are only two ways of getting to the place, one: by car (which roughly takes about 5 hours plus) and two: by the only fastest water transport on the Baram River, the “express” which takes two long trips. First, from Kuala Baram to Marudi (about 3 hrs) and second, from Marudi to Long Banyok (2 ½ hrs plus), so total is like 6 hours trip. I know, it is a pain in the ass to sit my butt on the express seat for 6 hours.

BTW, Baram River (for those of you who did’nt know) is the river below the Baram Bridge before heading to Miri and after the Malaysian Immigration. Last time when I went there, I just use the car and of course you’ll need a 4X4 ride to get there, the road was kinda hardcore a bit especially during raining time.

But this time (on the 5th of Decenber), I just use the express to get there and got back home, haha a bit cheaper compare using a car (harap maklum, harga minyak mahal kali aa di sana, harga tayar lagi, itu ini blablabla =P).

Majority of the villagers in Long Banyok is Kenyah or Morek and very surprisingly they are also good in Iban language which makes it easier for me to communicate. But, sometimes I just don’t understand what the hell they talked about in their own language, which makes me felt kinda outcast in certain moments.

So f#ck it ladies and gentlemen, I’m going to bed early haha =D not your fault that I don’t speak and understands a little bit of Morek language. But since I got back from there, my Morek is getting a little better than before hehe. Let’s just say I managed to master a few words from my new buddies over there =).

I stayed there for 6 days and got back home to Brunei on the 11th. Unluckily I came there before Christmas =( coz Christmas there was like 2X crazy than what I had in Brunei, PERIOD!!! I mean, all the non-stop sound of firecrackers (it’s still on till after midnight even when you’re trying to sleep on the night of 24th, before Christmas), the sound of music non-stop till dawn breaks and all of the happy mood the people had on their faces.

Here are some of the lists of things that I might miss and not miss from Long Banyok:

- My grandma Ukau

- My aunty A’a

- The people of Long Banyok who is always so friendly =D

- Aunty’s f#cking hot shot curry and her egg fried cabbage, which I had every meal on the 6 days I stayed there and I never got sick of it!!! So a thumbs up to my aunt who is an excellent cook =D

- Eating more than a kg of grilled catfish (KELI). Damn, these bad boys in Long Banyok are so delicious, no shitting, coz they fed on the palm fruits (buah sawit) which makes them taste good compare to a normal catfish.

- Exchange the word ‘ANA!!!’ with some dudes in the football field, whatever it means… but it’s fun though haha

- Blood thirsty mosquitoes, which forced me to wear jeans and long sleeves every time I got into bed

- Funny shitty words coming out of some drunk dudes

- The muddy football field which was originally a swampy area

- A cold bath at the Baram River. OMG!!! The river was like 100 meters wide!!! No I’M NOT F#CKING Kidding!!!
